Hey there!

Sorry that my letter didn't send yesterday. I'll try to remember what I put the first time :P Ummm let's see, this week was fanfreakintastic! this was probably one of the best weeks that I have had on my mission so far, we have been praying and fasting for new investigators to come into our path and this week we found 4 new investigators, 2 member referrals, 1 with a baptism date, and 1 potential! this is VERY good. The past few weeks have been a real drag and I'm glad that things are finally picking up now. The Lord really has been preparing us this past week for these wonderful people and i am so thankful for this. Elder Zander and I fasted and prayed for a goal for us to set on how many baptisms we will get in March and it turned out to be 5. So we are going to be busy for quite a while! Which is very good. I want to stay as busy as possible.

Oh, by the way, thanks for the money for the GPS! Thank you so much for your help! I know money is tight and I really do appreciate it! I've been using it and it really has been helping us out getting around the back roads and what not. That is so crazy that Dillon leaves for the MTC on Wednesday!! I E-mailed him and I hope that he does great! That is also awesome that he talked about me in his farewell, I wish I was there to hear it but I'm needed here of course ;) Man, I cannot believe that I have been out for almost 6 months! This is nuts! I'm a quarter of the way done! and it does NOT feel like it. It feels like I just started. Insane huh?

Yes I'll be expecting those pictures soon! I need to start taking more pictures soon as well, but there is only so much that I can take of in the small town of Alma. That is great that you are still working! my prayers are still being answered at home!! I'm happy to hear that Dwight got my package I sent him, I really do hope that he likes it and will read it soon....

The weather here is always weird. Right now, there is a breeze and it puts a little chill in you but the other day it was like 70 degrees and the humidity was getting up there! I'm really not looking forward to this coming summer... How is the weather back at home? is there still snow or slush? so you need to do me a huge favor and tell my friends to write me. I am rarely getting letters from my friends and its really sad. I always get excited when the mail comes and nothing comes in for me. I could really use some support from my friends back at home.

That is awesome that you are feeding the missionaries some ribs! We get fed very well here. Don't worry, I'm not letting the food get to me. The other night we were fed Steaks and the other night the same people fed us ribs!!! We are treated like kings here ha ha ha!! Well I better get going, I hope all is well for you all. Hey Mom,

This week was better. Last week we were snowed in for 2 days or so and it drove me crazy!!!! I'm glad that we have been out and about doing the Lords work again. No I haven't gotten the package yet but I'm still looking for it, I should get it today! and havent gotten the other letters from my friends yet..... I wrote like 9 letters to my friends a week or so ago and nothing yet. So, My new Companions name is Elder Zander and he is from West Jordan Utah and he has been out for 21 months. He actually transfered from the Everet Washington Mission. He didn't do anything bad. He just got a phone call from the mission headquaters and told him that he is needed here. He is a fantastic missionary! He reminds me so much of Garrett! he is so spitatual and he really knows how to teach! We were at a investigators house last night named Mark Daley and he really likes me. He says that I speak form my heart and he can feel the spirit when I talk to him. I have such a strong and confident feeling that he is going to be baptized soon!!! I'm so excited!! Elder Zander and I have a really good feeling about this transfer! We are gonna shread up this area one door at a time!! We fasted yesterday for guidence and inspiration on how many people will be baptized this transfer and I got a feeling that it will be 3 which is a lot! and he feels like its 2. Who knows, maybe it will be 5!!! Heck yeah!!!! So I hope that you get the house as well, I'll pray for you guys! I always do! :) I constantly pray for Dwight, for him to have success in the exams and to feel better. Also I pray for his heart to soften towards the Gospel. I have a positive feeling that it is working!!! Tell him that I love him and care about him a lot. How is everyhing else going? Good I hope. How are the Girls? I hear that they LOVE Harry Potter!! Oh yeah!!! Score one for me! Well I think that that is all that has been going on this week. Hope all is well. Tell Bishop and Alan I said there the Bomb and I love them, tell the Rooks I love them as well and still pray for them ;) Hopefully I will have much more to report next week. Keep the letters coming, I love them! Love you all!

Hellooooooooo there!!!!!

So I believe that that was the shortest letter that I have ever had from you. Haha It's all good cause you said you sent me a V-day package and a letter in it, Can't wait to get it! So, This week was kind of a drag in a way. Our mission president called the whole mission and told us to park our cars because of the storm that came through. It snowed one day, melted and iced over that night and kept doing it over and over again. It's like a snowball effect or iceball effect, whichever. But we have literally been stuck in our apartment a good 80% of the week, We have been doing a lot of studying but you can only do that so much till I start eating my face off. We have also done a lot of letter writing and playing the card game uno. Other than that, we have been doing some service, We helped a member in the ward, the Chandlers paint there girls room purple and also helping her sister move stuff out of her storage shed. Its been pretty awesome! I love that family!

I'm glad that Dwight is doing good! I've been praying a lot for him. Please have him E-mail me back!! and I heard all about the Superbowl I was going for the Packers, the Steelers have won to many Superbowl's. So no new investigators due to the weather, transfer calls came in on Saturday night and I'm staying here and Elder Reilley is leaving to Missouri on Friday. My new companion is Elder Vander. I have know idea who he is or where his is from or how long he has been out for. When is Lauren going to College? Be sure to take more pictures! I'm glad that Naomi got my letter! I love the Rook family to death!!!

I have added a short message that a sweet member from Daniels ward sent to me last week. -Kim-

Hi there! Elder Stuart wanted me to tell you that he went to a doctor yesterday for headaches. He was diagnosed with a sinus infection. I pulled a 'mom' and also suggested he go to the eye doctor!!

They came up yesterday to give my son and daughter a blessing. I usually wait for hometeachers or my husband, but this time I was really concerned so I asked them to spend their precious miles and drive up here. Of course they did very willingly . . . and the kids are going to be just fine!

Your son was a blessing to my family, specifically, yesterday and I am truly appreciative!!!

Hey there again!

I don't have a whole lot of time but I spill out as much as possible, I am really sorry about it being short. This week has literally been a roller coaster of spiritual emotions. The beginning of this week has been the usual, Contacting Recent coverts for no reason because there is nothing else to do. But on saturday, we went to this service center to do service of course as we do every saturday. The church was there doing some volunteer work and a member brought her friend that is insanely cute(don't hate, I am still human you know lol) and she kept looking at me so I decided to go talk to her, we got talking and she asked why I have a name tag and so forth so I explained to her why, then she asked a butt load of questions, from Temples to church to Marriage to Joseph Smith to The Book of Mormon.... I answered them all!!!! she was super interested in what I said so I offered her a Book of Mormon and she said of course! So I ran to the car to grab one and I gave it to her. She was very thankful for it. The bad new is that it turns out that she lives somewhere that is not in my area!!! Ugh!!!!

Other stuff that happened is that the lady that was sooner or later going to be baptised is now moving this tuesday to Missouri and another investigator came across some Anti-Mormon literature so she's not really interested anymore. It's so heart breaking but I cant let it get to me. The past is the past, all I can do is look forward to the future. The weather here is crazy, we are supposed to get a really bad storm in a bit. Hopefully everything will be okay. Unfortunally I cannot upload pictures today, there is a line for the computer and people are getting mad. Sorry... So, went to the doctor and he gave me some medicine and some hydros for some reason. Oh well. I think its if I have pain. Thanks for putting money in my account for me, helps me for emergency's. I love you all so much.

Hey there!

How is everything going out there? How is the weather? Is it still cold?? The weather here is crazy... Its warm now, about in the 60's or so and also it changes to rain or snow. Depending on the weather. The week here was slowish. Our investigator that was going to be baptized keeps missing church so we have to keep moving her date back farther and farther. She has been really sick and the doctors found some sort of a cancer in her blood stream AND she is moving! so now we have to give her to other missionaries. We haven't had a investigator in church for a while now, We keep inviting them but they don't show up. This is just one big trial that I am facing and I know if I stay faithful to What the Lord wants me to do, Then I will be blessed. It may not be a blessing of investigators or church attendance, it could be a blessing of comfort knowing that I'm doing the right thing and it will bless my family as well.

I saw the pictures! They are great! I can't believe that Dungy is getting so big!! Dexter is a dwarf compared to him! Ha ha!! Once you go to the store, Tell everyone that I said hi and I miss them! There really isn't a whole lot to report this week. We were at a investigators house and I saw the play offs! Who's in the super bowl now? lol. The mission has been going by so fast I literally cannot believe it! I love the people that are in the ward here. At least once a week we have been going to a members house to help re build it, (There house burnt down to the ground last year) and I love going there and helping them! It's a great service to do and they are great people. So I've been hearing that the church is opening the China mission but they are just waiting for the OK from the Chinese government so we can go and once they get the OK then the church is sending most of the missionaries here in the states there! but it will mostly be a service mission for a while so we can soften there hearts so when other missionaries come in, they will preach the gospel! I'd think that it would be awesome If I had to go there! I already know the gospel, now I just need to know the language! I would already be a step ahead of other missionaries that just learn the language because that is all that they do!

Everything else is going good here, my clothes are holding up but I just keep getting dirty! hehe oh well. I've been getting a lot headaches quite frequently so I'm going to see a doctor today to see whats up. Oh, I also forgot my camera again! I'm sorry, I know its annoying that I keep forgetting but I'll try to remember next week. I hope that all is going good out there, I miss you all and love you all very much!

Hey there!

So that is incredibly weird that you already know people here that I have only known for 3 weeks! I was at the Egerton's house on Saturday night for dinner and she was telling me about you getting the job. That's great! I was so happy to hear that! So it only lasts until April? So how in the world did you find her!?!? She cannot remember so its driving me up the wall! hehe. So awesome that you guys talk about me. They are a great family. The talk in Sacrament went great! I talked on Obedience, It was like the easiest thing to talk on! Everyone loved it! That is the first talk that I have given so far and I guarantee that more is coming soon lol. So the weather here is warm, its so weird! its like a high of 50's or 60's and the humidity doesn't really effect me anymore which is a good thing.

I got the package the day I read the e-mail, I loved it! Thank you so much, the only thing I would disagree on is the Beef Jerky, its from Albertsons! That is a sin for me to have! besides, I know that Super one is cheaper, remember I used to work there haha. Lol Just kidding. Have you been there lately? Tell everyone that I said hello and I miss them! If you go into Super one tell Amy that I need her address, or just have her write me. Oh, and I did get Alan's letter and I haven't gotten the chance to write him yet, I feel bad. I'm behind on a lot of letters. I only got a chance to write off 5 letters Yesterday. The reason why I'm writing on a Tuesday again is because yesterday was MLK day and the Library was closed. So did you have a good birthday and Anniversary? I hope so.

So Amber is wanting to be baptized huh? that's great!!! What are Dwight's thoughts? So speaking of baptisms, we sorta do have one coming up in the farther future. She has had problems coming to church and other problems so we had to extend the baptism further. It's still awesome that she is wanting to be baptized!!!

Last week here went OK. A lot of people here have been sick lately so about 90% of our plans fell through because of that. In a way its a little disappointing but we did some more tracking, I'm not a huge fan of it but once I was doing it, I was in such a happier mood. Our whole purpose as a missionary is: "To invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and his Attonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end." And tracking is a big part in that, even tho a lot of people are not interested in what we may have to say, I still feel great because we still "Invited others to come unto Christ" and for that, I'll be blessed and so will my family.

That's great that Corey found you! Shes a amazing person. I got a letter from her the other day, I was glad to know that she is doing well. Sorry that I haven't been up to date with the pictures, I'll try to send some next week. I hope that everyone is doing good. How is Lauren doing? I haven't heard from her in a long while, I know shes busy with work! I better get going, Take care Y'all!! Haha!
